Itinerary

On arrival, take a private transfer from Rome airport or train station to your hotel. Spend the remainder of the day getting acquainted with this amazing city. Spend three nights in Rome.

This morning join an Imperial Tour of Rome, which takes in the Roman Forum and Colosseum. The afternoon is free to explore Rome further. In the evening, we recommend visiting the Trastevere district, which is full of typical restaurants.

Take a high speed train from Rome’s Termini Station to Naples. Upon arrival in Naples, you will be transferred to Pompeii where you will enjoy a 2-hour stop to visit the archaeological area. This ancient Roman city was destroyed when Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD and buried it, preserving it under a sea of volcanic ash for nearly 1700 years. Following the visit, transfer to lovely seaside town of Sorrento. Sorrento of famous for its picturesque old town centre and atmospheric fisherman's village of Marina Grande. Spend the next two nights in Sorrento.

Today join a small group tour to Capri Island. Visit Capri, Anacapri and the famous Blue Grotto (weather permitting).  In the afternoon, return to Sorrento by ferry.

This morning, return to Naples and spend the day at your leisure, exploring the best that this city has to offer.

After breakfast, transfers to the station for the high-speed train to Bari. On arrival in Bari, you will be transferred to your hotel. If check in is not available, leave your bags and spend the rest of the day at leisure. We suggest visiting the Basilica of San Nicola, strolling through the alleys of Bari Vecchia, the historic heart of the city, admiring the women making orecchiette by hand in the narrow streets, the flower-filled balconies and the small artisan shops. Then head towards the seafront and enjoy a walk along Via Nazario Sauro, one of the most beautiful seafronts in Italy, overlooking the Adriatic Sea and the moored fishing boats. End the day with a dinner in a typical restaurant and an evening walk along Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, the main street in the centre, animated by bars, cafes and shops. Stop for an ice cream or coffee at one of the outdoor venues. Spend the night in Bari.

After breakfast at the hotel, your tour ends.
